Redub turns text into speech that can be saved as audio files and shared with other people or used in other apps for free.
You can use Redub to create voice-overs for videos, eLearning, audio books, presentations, interactive telephony systems and so on.
The TTS (Text-To-Speech) conversion is done offline on your device using artificial intelligence engines directly available on the device.
Redub supports many languages and cultures. Voice engines and machine learning models may vary between smartphone brands and models.
IMPORTANT: You can download and choose between available voices using the devices Settings.
Using iOS 13 or later, go to Settings > Accessibility > Spoken Content > Voices (Speak Selection must be turned on).
Close the Settings app and restart Redub to use the new voices.
You can type text or dictate using the keyboards voice typing functionality -- sometimes called keyboard dictation.
Text can be imported in various ways:
1. Using share providers, for example sharing a text selection from your browser to Redub.
2. Using copy / paste (clipboard).
3. Importing PDFs saved on the device.
Support for dark mode is built-in.
